Madelynn and Jared 06.15.13 / by Bolla Photo

Madelynn and Jared started their new lives together as husband and wife surrounded by so many fun, sweet, supportive, and loving family and friends. Madelynn’s friends did her hair and make-up and her bridesmaid, Ainsley, did an amazing job designing all of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and other floral arrangements. The bride, mother of the bride and each bridesmaid even had adorable handmade personalized hangers for their dresses. Even though they had agreed to not exchange gifts before the ceremony, Madelynn was presented with a cute gift from Jared: a frame with 3 hearts showing maps of the locations where they met, and would soon wed and live.

Just moments before the ceremony, Madelynn and Jared shared a moment together, around the corner and out of sight from each other. Jared made the remark that he could tell from holding her hand that she looked beautiful…but, of course, how could she not! Those quick minutes only built up the anticipation for that long walk down the aisle when they laid eyes on each other for the first time that day…the day that the two became one. The Provencial House Chapel proved to be a beautiful backdrop to the declaration of their beautiful love.  Many tears were shed by the bridal party, parents, guests, and especially the bride and groom as the two exchanged the vows they had written.

Too many take life and love for granted, but not so with Jared and Madelynn. They aside part of their reception to pay special tribute to fallen comrades. All those who have served or are currently serving our country were also honored. The night continued on a lighter note as Jared’s best friend since age 10 and Madelynn’s college roommate told stories of their friendships. The bride and groom danced for the first time as husband and wife under a crystal chandelier as his sister and step-dad provided the music. After the traditional father-daughter dance, Jared shared a special not-so-traditional dance with his mother, clearly showing the sweet relationship they share. All too soon the dancing was over and it was time for good-byes before the couple left for across the country.

Congratulations again, Madelynn and Jared! We wish you all the best in North Carolina and thank you for all the sacrifices you have and continue to make for the rest of us. Stay safe!
